I have a couple of questions about modifying my soon to be 2005 subaru forester xt. I am looking at several options obviously from several different companies. If anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking at several modifications right off the bat. Namely lowering and stiffening the suspension. Has anyone used "Stance" suspension. I hear high reviews on all there products for other vehicles. Has anyone here used them. Otherwise any recommendations? Bilstein? or any other companies? Rallitek anti sway bars? bushings? For Turbo upgrades has anyone used the Rallitek turbo's by "AVO"? I have extensively researched HKS and have great reviews from people again with other vehicles besides subaru's. And I love there products. Any recommendations? Engine internals i'm still kind of lost on because I have run rx7's for years now, however i'm going to do this build right. And for improving the structural integrity of the car. Rallitek or other alternatives? Transmission mounts? Engine mounts? Any FMIC recommendations? ECU upgrade? Fuel management systems? good mannered and responsive gauge brands? Turbo timer. boost controllers. Aftermarket parts for overall improvement of the handling of the car? I am relatively new to Subarus and will be posting pics of the car and the build as I go but any input will be very helpful and used wisely to do this right the first time. Last thing I want is to blow it all on a stupid mistake.

I would like an 04' or 05' model Forester with the 2.5 turbo and a manual transmission. I would like to find a good turbo setup and a nice exhaust that I can run an exhaust dump switch to go from i'm going to kick your rump roast and then go back to sleep. Put a rack on top for the mountain trips. I would like a 1 to 1.5 in. drop an stance or similar suspension setup. Redo all the fluids as soon as I get it. After finding a quality turbo kit and knowing what exactly I want after doing more research I'll see what internals I want to do. Any recommendations?

Thanks guys I appreciate the input. I love the idea of doing a forester. I had a co-worker a couple years back that had on that had over 300 hp if I remember right. It was one B A D car. And yes a sleeper with some good looks. I don't need to advertise i'm fast. Last thing I need is any tickets.

Hi everyone my name is Zach and I live near Vancouver, WA. I am a huge suby fan. But I have a lot to learn. I am currently shopping for my first subaru. a 2004 or newer. Impreza, WRX, Forester, or Legacy. I'm completely open to building any one of them. I look forward to seeing everyone on the forums and if you have any other questions of me don't be afraid to ask.
