  1. I saw that one, thanks. Any other suggestions? I've bought lots of older cars before so I have a general idea of what to check, just looking for specific problem areas.
  2. Hi everyone. I've never owned a Subaru before and am looking at buying an '86 Brat. Aside from rust, what should I be looking at? Are any trim parts still available from the dealer or is it limited to just mechanical stuff? I've already talked to the owner on the phone and seems like a knowledgeable, stand up guy. I just want to make sure that when I show up to look at it and drive it that I don't miss any common areas of concern. Looks like I will need a replacement stock radio for it and a drivers seat cover to start with. Any idea where to track them down? Thanks in advance.
