  1. Hey Everybody, Thanks for all the posts. But after a wee bit of time spent under the bonnet (reminds me of when i built my engine) Found the issure. was the TPS ( Throttle Position Sensor ) Was slightly moved, hence making the engine Rev, but not indicating it to the ECU. So hopefully this feedback helped anyone else that this comes across. -- For future people -- On my WRX STi. My TPS is located to the left of the IAC Valve. it is screwed on ( 2 Baby screws ) to the throttle body. and has a plug coming from it, going under the TMIC. usually it is Semi Circular, and Black. hope this helps! EDIT -> gauge wasnt reading, because the vacuum line running into the gauge was being cut of by itself (bent) So got that sorted.
  2. Hey everyone, First time posting Recently i renewed all (most) of my vacuum lines. Due to the orginally ones were stiff and i was able to snap them like a twig. Unfortunately now, My boost gauge wouldnt read correctly. It was reading 12vacuum and wouldn't read boost. So i bought a new gauge, was working great, but i was cleaning my IAC Valve, and (lol) i dropped it, and broke the magnic, that is at the top. Bought a new IAC Valve, but noticed the numbers were different eg. 16YH, and the new one was 20YH. So i put it all together. Found my car was Idling at 2000rpm, and kept on rising. Also, my boost gauge isn't reading (might be seperate) Would the IAC VALVE be making my subi Idle like crazy? PLEASE HELP
