Hey, I saw you were looking for a '78 BRAT. I actually know a guy who has one. It seemed to run pretty good. I don't think it has rust but the interior was pretty rough. Are you interested, I can see if he still has it so you can talk with him.

So, exactly which measurements to you want? It's 30.5" in the rear and 26" at the point where the curve starts. Is that what you want? Perhaps I can give you my number and we can talk if you want other measurements. I'm planning on hanging onto it in case I need it in the future. I have two BRATS and I'm bound to need it someday. This thing is a little difficult to measure due to the shape and I don't know where to start. The back is about 30.5". The side, just where it begins to bend is about 26". I'm gonna hang on to it. My 1986 Subaru BRAT (#2), purchased in Sept 2011, has about 241,000 and seems very solid. Needs a little TLC for some rear rust. Otherwise, looks pretty good to me.

My 1992 Subaru SVX. Purchased in Sept 2011 from Mesa AZ. It has about 81000 miles on it. This one is a head turner, everyone stares at me and not because I'm all that hot!
