  1. Hey, you guys have been great, I've gotten a little confidence with all that information, I like my options for the drilling for new studs. So I'm going to get my act together and get it done. Thanks again, I'll let you know how it all turns out.
  2. Ok then. In the last three years I have had the vehicle I haven't be able to find Peugeot rims, not only that I don't like the look of the ones I've seen. And the redrilling, and manufacturing sounds a little intimidating. So let me explain my goals for the car, first of all I don't want something radical, this is my distance driving to my favorite fly fishing spots vehicle, which sometimes leads me to some minimal off roading, and there are times I need a little more ground clearance. So I was thinking maybe a 14 or 15 rim, maybe a newer Subaru type, something I wouldn't have to do body renovation. So if I have to redrill and manufacture, maybe you can give me or direct me to a little more information about the best / easiest way to get to the larger rim size and then we can talk tires. I am fairly mechanically incline, I have done my share of auto renovations, but I have gotten lazy over the years. I just don't want to screw this little gem of a vehicle up.
  3. I have a 92 Loyale wagon, and I would like experienced advice of the largest ( tallest ) tire or tire wheel set up I can get in this wheel well with out issues.
  4. Well, that may not be what I wanted to hear, it is exactly what I wanted someone of experience to tell me, before I start overthinking this to much. Thanks for your direct answer, Bob B
  5. We are talking about a 1992 loyale FI single port that run good but I would like it to run quicker. My previous experience is with 1500 & 1800 fiats and autocross them at 7500 + RPM. Most of that was with an MSD coil upgrade, there were other things done too, but this question is; does an upgrade coil do this engine and electronic system any good, and if so, any experience recommendations? 6. I have recently purchased a real straight loyale 4wd wagon, it runs well but--- it is running rough at aprox 3000 rpm in 4th and 5th ( and the check engine lite comes on). I consider myself a fair home garage mechanic on older stuff without all this computer crap but this stuff is killing me.(I live in Calif.) Anyhow here is what I have done so far; r & r'd the fuel filter, removed and cleaned and reinstalled the fuel pressure regulator, r & r'ed the plugs and wires and took special attention to keep wires separated so no cross fire, removed and cleaned the airflow meter and reinstalled after cleaning the air intake boot, did the same to the air control valve and checked electrical operation, r & r'ed the pcv valve, and after all this it still runs like crap. This thing runs great at high rpm in low gears, so I would guess the motor and valve are fine. SO,-- THERE'S GOT TO BE SOMETHING I'M MISSING, ANY SUGGESTIONS??
