    well i met up whith the guy selling it and drove it some. The CVs are making a perty good clacking noise and the rear wheel bearings are humming a bit. It has 166,000miles on it. Is that about the time for major internal work to be done?

    Hello, Im thinking of buying an older Legacy wagon ($500) what type of stuff should i be looking for, it looks like a late 80s modle. A friend of mine has one whith 230,000 original miles on it so i thought it might be worth a shot. Thanks for any help.
