  1. Head Gasket Problems? 2001 Forester

    83wasagoodyear posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    HI. I'm considering buying a 2001 Forester with 76k miles. I've searched this forum and see that head gaskets have been a problem for earlier models. Is this true for 2001 too? What would I look for as serious problems while checking it out? Thanks for any advice! ps I am an original owner of an '83 GL 1.8L and never had head gasket problems.
