  1. I'd like to throw up some pics but I can't seem to figure out how to upload them? Says I am not able to?!
  2. Where is the engine serial number located at?
  3. If I indeed have a 1 bbl carter on there I would bet it has a "standard" carter bolt pattern on it. But I need to finish ripping out the excess vaccum lines that run all over the place and finish ripping out the wiring I don't need also so I know what I have to work with.
  4. Do you know a model number of carb or a specific vehicle to look for?
  5. Are there any other bolt on carbs out there? It looks like I have a 1 bbl carb on there. In this application torque and HP are not needed to increase over stock. In fact I could go down significantly since I really only require about 40 hp to run the tractor and implements. Only went with the sooby engine because it was cheap and only weighed 100 lbs more than the 20 hp engine I started with. Also where is the serial number located on the engine block so I can put a date on the engine.
  6. I have a Ea81 engine that I am using for a small tractor that I am building. I don't really know much about this engine but was told it ran good when it was pulled and it was cheap so I decided to go for it. I want to strip this engine down to the bare minimum it needs to run since emissions are no concern to me. Can I keep the factory carb or do I have to try and find a different carb since there are a lot of electronics on the carb? I also was wondering about the rotation of the crankshaft bolt, I tried turning it both ways but it won't budge, just wanted to know if it was a left hand threaded bolt by chance before I put a bigger impact gun on it. It needs to come off so I can adapt a different pulley to the front to run my hydraulic pump.
