1996 Subaru Legacy LEMON
Welp, went to get stuff for the car, and quickly found out that school money (extra fin aid+schlrshp) can't be spent to fix a car. . .the car gets me to school. . . sometimes, when I don't take the k10 connector. So POSTPONED again, gotta love being broke.

How much of that sealant you think it'll take for those 2 things? I'm getting ready to order some. Only seems to come in 3oz tubes. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-82180-Maximum-Resistance-Silicone/dp/B0002UEN1U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330716247&sr=8-1 Yep. . . i buy everything online, almost always cheaper.

Ok, so there is the "steering rack" and a tie rod attached to each end of it. The tie rods have a tie rod end and "inner tire rod" Do I have this right? I drive this car all of the time. It is not unusual for me to put 100 miles on it in a day. I get up to 70 on a daily basis. It sounds like I need to check some things here pretty quick because losing steering doesn't sound pleasant.

Forget about it, ima just paint the engine with this-:lol:Ok seriously, Valve cover gaskets I think I could take care of. Oil pan gasket, i don't know. If i have to jack the engine up, that'll take i bit of thinking because of course I don't have anything to do that. "As for the FWD, that is surprising. All I can say." LOL this IS coming from the guy that couldn't find the search button. But, i'm pretty sure I know how to do something that simple. Steering rod- give me a bit. I need to do a bit of "searching" to understand what you are saying there.

Way over on page 2. Um sway bar end links? How could that cause it? Soo many possibilities I don't know what to do now. Also, looking at that oil pan, I don't know how anyone could get that thing off without movin SOMETHING out of the way.
