  2. Haha bugeyes thats a great name! Welcome.
  3. Litterally had no clue that people could still have someone pump there gas. I haven't ever seen or heard of that in my lifetime.Guess in some areas its still available. Crazy.
  4. Hey my uncle lives in Denton! . . .anyway BOOMER SOONER
  5. @ hardog - i actually know where that is! Nice to see all the people that live in the midwest.
  6. Welp, went to get stuff for the car, and quickly found out that school money (extra fin aid+schlrshp) can't be spent to fix a car. . .the car gets me to school. . . sometimes, when I don't take the k10 connector. So POSTPONED again, gotta love being broke.
  7. Ya, you can even get a tube for .01 only thing is the shipping is mysteriously $5
  8. How much of that sealant you think it'll take for those 2 things? I'm getting ready to order some. Only seems to come in 3oz tubes. http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-82180-Maximum-Resistance-Silicone/dp/B0002UEN1U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330716247&sr=8-1 Yep. . . i buy everything online, almost always cheaper.
  9. ^^yes that does help. Thank you. Also kind of scary. . . I will do that check on the give of the wheels asap. just have to mention this, because im extremely excited. Through my school I have acces to on online database of every chiltons book ever written AND the "AARC." It has information on almost every car since 1956. Oh yes! this will be useful!
  10. Ok, so there is the "steering rack" and a tie rod attached to each end of it. The tie rods have a tie rod end and "inner tire rod" Do I have this right? I drive this car all of the time. It is not unusual for me to put 100 miles on it in a day. I get up to 70 on a daily basis. It sounds like I need to check some things here pretty quick because losing steering doesn't sound pleasant.
  11. Forget about it, ima just paint the engine with this-:lol:Ok seriously, Valve cover gaskets I think I could take care of. Oil pan gasket, i don't know. If i have to jack the engine up, that'll take i bit of thinking because of course I don't have anything to do that. "As for the FWD, that is surprising. All I can say." LOL this IS coming from the guy that couldn't find the search button. But, i'm pretty sure I know how to do something that simple. Steering rod- give me a bit. I need to do a bit of "searching" to understand what you are saying there.
  12. Way over on page 2. Um sway bar end links? How could that cause it? Soo many possibilities I don't know what to do now. Also, looking at that oil pan, I don't know how anyone could get that thing off without movin SOMETHING out of the way.
