  1. The Y pipe is shot on my EA81, and i've been considering the SS Magnaflow replacement, w/cat. (which is under $200). What is the advantage of the UEL design, and why should I consider your product? (besides it's obvious quality welds and cosmetic "wow-factor" Thank you!
  2. Swap in a different distributor, could be the ignitor module within the disty. Also swap out the little blue or black box located near the hood release pull. It has a pigtail with about 6 wires coming out. This is the Fuel Pump Control Unit, or FPCU and is an essential part of the ignition system ECU's are only found on models with the feedback Hitachi carb. It's located under the steering column if you do indeed have one. Cheers, and welcome aboard.
  3. I dig it ! Never seen a factory black wagon before, on the web or in person. I am however a bit nervous, with so much negativity shrouding the EA82T ... It runs excellent currently. So assuming it is in fit condition- What positive things do you have to say about owning one of these technological dinosaurs? I plan on running this motor for as long as I can before dropping in the EJ22 and stripped harness i have kickin' around Pics coming when i detail her, a little dirty as she sits- and not in the muddy fun way. Again, don't tell me it's going to blow up, or that it sucks. Searching the forums provide enough of that already...
