  1. what time would you guys be coming threw Olympia, WA ? I live seriously 3 blocks from the on ramp so I could probably just hop on the freeway and catch up.

Anyone else have a CB radio ? I just got one at a garage sale I just need an antenna now.

where in oly are you located? Or rather, what exit are you near? I can give you a call when we're going past hawks prarie if you wanna pm me your number. (I promise i won't stalk you)

  2. Are 90-91 different?

I have one from a 90. Yours for free. You can get it from me on the way down.

Or. . . Do you still work at the same place? Thats' pretty close to me, I can drop it off there for you. Whatever.

The 90/91 ones are different unfortunately. At least the turbo ones aren't. Seems like something subaru would do.

And no, I don't work at the same place, I just got a job downtown

  3. WTF!!! Why do people get so bent out of shape over putting premium in their car!!!!?!?!?!??? It's an extra $.20 per gallon! It's really not that much. In a year, running 20,000 miles a year, on 19mpg, I will have spent only $210 extra. To me, the turbo is worth an extra $1000 a year for the fun factor. On a car that gets better mileage than my ej22t, and sees fewer miles it's a negligable difference. I don't see why people get so bent out of shape over putting premium gasoline in their car.

  4. Still, the commercial glorifies destruction of others' personal property out of dislike, envy, revenge etc.

It's clear that Subaru is trying to market this thing to haters. Not that far out there. Think about it. The target is clearly single women who have been dissed by successfull men:

'Buy one of these and show him! Oh, and have a good chuckle as you're thinking about him, and his dog, being kicked to the curb by your new "SUV". Take that, Baby!'

Correct me if you feel I am wrong ,but at the very least, Subaru is marketing this as a chic SUV. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just get the feeling that it could be done without promoting destruction.

    Juan

    I think you're nuts.

My take on the commercial is that Subaru is marketing their new subaru as just that.... A subaru. They last forever and are virtually indestructible. THe same cannot, however, be said for Fords. I think they're just trying to have a little fun, not promoting terrorism, death, and destruction of others' personal property.

  5. I'd like to thank the organizers of the event! I always have such a good time.

It seems that both last year and this year, i've come back from the show lusting after a vehicle that has off-road abilities, and shocked that I'll likely not see most of the people that I spent the last 2 days with for another year.

  6. there's a fuse that technicians have for diagnostic purposes that plugs into the engine bay that converts the car to fwd. Not possible to go rwd

sorry i cant be of help, but here's some mighty useful information...

your power splits go as so

    Automatic:

    1st and 2nd - 50front/50rear

    3rd and 4th - 90front/10rear

(used for fuel economy on the freeway, you dont need a 50/50 split going that fast)

    Manual

    1st-5th 50front/50rear
