Zefy don't worry.....you won't be the only Legacy there......
spark
all the cool kids have legacies.
-
Do you have any experience using it? If you do, it may be an interesting experiment!

Heh, my girlfriend needs one from a 90-91.
Damn things are only held on by a little plastic tab. Her fender is a little crumpled, so the tab doesn't have enough strength to hold it on and she's already lost 2.
I have a ball peen. I'm gonna have to attack my fender anyway, after that buick was so enamored by my car that it felt that it was necessary to kiss it
-
Are 90-91 different?
I have one from a 90. Yours for free. You can get it from me on the way down.
Or. . . Do you still work at the same place? Thats' pretty close to me, I can drop it off there for you. Whatever.
The 90/91 ones are different unfortunately. At least the turbo ones aren't. Seems like something subaru would do.
And no, I don't work at the same place, I just got a job downtown
-
I need a 92-94 legacy front left corner light. lol
-
Sounds as though my roommate will be coming too in his wrx, providing he can get the day off work. Put me down for plus 1 car. Sorry.
-
I guess I'm in too. Just one car.
are we doing the radio thing?

avoid fram filters like the plague. Every 3,000 miles is good for oil.
-
sadly enough, i didn't have enough sense to get behind the camera even once. I'll go through my photos and see what art got.

is peace of mind not worth $.10 per gallon to you? You bought a car worth approximately $17000, yet you're already willing to sacrifice the thing that makes the car special because you don't want to spend less than the cost of a large slurpee every fill-up to maintain it correctly?
-
an air filter is like $10. Just get a new one. it's worth it
-
WTF!!! Why do people get so bent out of shape over putting premium in their car!!!!?!?!?!??? It's an extra $.20 per gallon! It's really not that much. In a year, running 20,000 miles a year, on 19mpg, I will have spent only $210 extra. To me, the turbo is worth an extra $1000 a year for the fun factor. On a car that gets better mileage than my ej22t, and sees fewer miles it's a negligable difference. I don't see why people get so bent out of shape over putting premium gasoline in their car.

Still, the commercial glorifies destruction of others' personal property out of dislike, envy, revenge etc.
It's clear that Subaru is trying to market this thing to haters. Not that far out there. Think about it. The target is clearly single women who have been dissed by successfull men:
'Buy one of these and show him! Oh, and have a good chuckle as you're thinking about him, and his dog, being kicked to the curb by your new "SUV". Take that, Baby!'
Correct me if you feel I am wrong ,but at the very least, Subaru is marketing this as a chic SUV. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just get the feeling that it could be done without promoting destruction.
Juan
I think you're nuts.
My take on the commercial is that Subaru is marketing their new subaru as just that.... A subaru. They last forever and are virtually indestructible. THe same cannot, however, be said for Fords. I think they're just trying to have a little fun, not promoting terrorism, death, and destruction of others' personal property.

I hated the Tribeca when it came out. I saw the ad, and it still looked stupid. I hated the Tribeca in the showroom, and just today, I saw a Tribeca while driving, and once again, hated it.
The damn thing has jelly rolls on it's hips!!!
-
If you want the power of a legacy gt, and the utility of an SUV, there's no better car for the price. Sorry to say that I don't know any nitty gritty details, but I say good choice, they're very fun to drive!
-
from my experience with first gen legacys, the 4eat craps out around 175k miles. Did that on my 91 at 176, and my 92 turbo(w/ 171k) seems to be well on her way

I work at an auto parts store that carries fel-pro gaskets. I can pull that and see if anyone at work can identify it.

I'd go, but I don't do drives. With a big group, someone usually does something stupid, and either a)makes the community look bad or b)puts themselves and others in danger
They are fun though.

Bosch makes a good filter, as does wix(napa gold is a wix) and they're available locally.

I'm telling you, it was the horse rider guys.
But seriously, and I think I speak for everyone here, I'm more that a bit miffed that someone not only stole from the foundation(is that what the fund is?) and from someone who has spent the last year planning for this, but also had to break the trust present at this event. I'm disgusted
-
I'd like to thank the organizers of the event! I always have such a good time.
It seems that both last year and this year, i've come back from the show lusting after a vehicle that has off-road abilities, and shocked that I'll likely not see most of the people that I spent the last 2 days with for another year.

there's a fuse that technicians have for diagnostic purposes that plugs into the engine bay that converts the car to fwd. Not possible to go rwd
sorry i cant be of help, but here's some mighty useful information...
your power splits go as so
Automatic:
1st and 2nd - 50front/50rear
3rd and 4th - 90front/10rear
(used for fuel economy on the freeway, you dont need a 50/50 split going that fast)
Manual
1st-5th 50front/50rear
