  1. I just finished replacing the head gaskets in my 97 Legacy Outback. Got everything back together and started the engine. The engine runs great but I am leaking coolant. I checked all the hoses and found one leak which was just a clamp that was not tight enough so i fixed that problem, and checked all the other clamps. It is dripping off the oil pan, but I can't track it down. I did have an oil leak from the pan, and a friend of mine removed the pan and resealed it for me when I had the engine out. I know I am not being very specific, but can anyone point me in a direction where I might start. I am not mechanic, but have tinkered w/ old VW engines for years, and have always done work on my cars, so you might have to dumb it down for me. Thanks.
