  12. It's a 1985 Subaru Gl wagon, Recent work, i got instructions from a post and re-timed the belts, i doubt its the problem its been running fine for weeks, And the car is at normal temperature, oh the engine is a 1.8l i believe, And with increase of gas is dulls, but then gets louder when i back off the gas some, But stops all-together when the pedal is untouched, downshifting, or just idling.
  13. You guys were great last time i had a problem, hopefully you can help me again, I'm getting a knocking, not sure where its from, But i can have it at an idol and rev it, and it sounds great, but when its in a gear, and i give it light gas, i get a pretty loud knocking.. Remember i don't know much so please explain in child terms lol
  14. Thank you everyone, she's up and running again, First time timing an engine and belts, I gave it about 4 goes, and she would not start or even crank over, then i noticed that i never turned the right cam 180 degrees before timing the left belt, i did that and she started right up, Thank you everyone, WOOT, time to go cruisin again
  15. Is there a way to "check" if the timing belts are off?
