  1. That is a good lookin' Brat!
  2. Yep, I thought it looked funny only having the flaps in the front so I relocated them.
  3. I'm blushing. I did post some pics on the meet and greet but I guess they disappear after time. Here's my flickr 2012-05-24_17-28-32_266 by superbratman, on Flickr
  4. Hey, kinda dumb question, is the Big Northwest Subaru Show a different event then the West Coast Subaru Show? Thanks!
  5. Hey, I'm a new Brat owner in Washington too! Welcome. I post pics by uploading them to a flickr account, then pasting a link from flicker into my post. I don't think this is the most efficient way, but it works. Good luck, let me know if you find a better way!
  6. Thanks for the compliments, I just gave them another layer of armor all and they're looking good. Very plush indeed. Daewoo seats worked pretty well since they were trying to be an economical car with a little extra zing, that means nice seats in a smaller footprint. And yeah, you don't really see them driving around anymore. The car at the junkyard that the head unbolted and I noticed most of the parts were GM. Kinda weird.
  7. No, they were steel. Pretty beefy, I retained the existing rails Brat sliders and I'm worried they are actually the weak link.
  8. I'm down if I'm around, Yee Haw! (This will be my first one too)
  9. Well, I'm finally done. I live in a high-rise apartment building with no place to work, so what I have accomplished here makes me very proud. The old Brat seats were super worn and dirty, and very uncomfortable. I picked up some Daewoo leather seats at the junkyard and retro fitted them into my sweet ride. They have worked out perfectly, matching color, and the driver side has built in mechanical tilt control and lumbar support. What do you think? I hope I haven't desecrated the sanctity of the Brat! Here is a pic of the donor car. These are the seats in the Daewoo. I had to drill through 36 of these crazy hard rivits so I could bolt on some angle bar to mate up with the existing seat sliders, I felt so bad for my neighbors having to listen to my drilling racket.
  10. WCSS sounds awesome! Super close too, thanks for letting me know. I'm such a nube. I was actually thinking of getting rid of the kick panels, is that a bad idea? Since I'm missing a few pieces, I kinda wanted a cleaner look. I wouldn't know what to do with the remaining holes though.
  11. Thanks for the welcome! I had to paint the rims actually, I wish I had found them that white. What is WCSS-14?
  12. Hey, I'm new to Brats. What's the purpose of switching to 6 lugs?
  13. Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself and my new Brat. Ain't she a beaut? Her name is Mildred, and she's a sweetheart. 2012-05-24_17-28-32_266 by superbratman, on Flickr
