Hey guys: Thanks for the info! One thing I haven't been able to figure out is what is the stock fuel pump pressure spec, and then what would you suggest as an upgrade, higher pressure, or just higher volume. Understand the injector issue. Since these have EA82T's have head gasket problems, are there any well know fixes such as high performance gaskets or o-ringing the heads (done that with a hi-per datsun and VW)? I've also heard that if I put boost pressure past 10psi the electronics will shut me down, some say that the older electronics are not that smart, thoughts? Once again thanks much in advance, you guys are great!

Hi All: A relative newbie here, but I absolutely LOVE subie powertrains! I have a sandrail that has a completely stock 1.8L EA82T (adapter plate and clutch to a VW bus transmission), it uses all the stock electronics connectors, etc. if I use a "front clip" or something similar my general access will allow a pretty easy and relatively inexpensive swap. My question, what would be the best swap to get more power, especially torque where I wouldn't have to get a different adapter plate and clutch, that is, are there any other subies that have the same exact bolt mounting pattern, and prefferably clutch mount. If none any sugg. on easy safe power additions to 1.8. Intake is really open, exaust completely open. I was thinking boost controller, intercooler, water injection. Thanks much in advance

Hi All: I have an Ea82T (with the small rectangular boost hat that says awd turbo), I think it's out of a late 80's Loyale or brat. It's installed in a large 4 seat sandrail. it's stock and uses ALL stock components, including electronics, except a very open intake and open exhaust. I need about 20 to 40 more hp out of it any ideas? I was thinking a boost controller, but worry about the mapping and not delivering enough fuel, or going into "limp" mode. So any idea in cheap to more expensive order would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
