  1. Thanks for the advice. I purchased the Nozzle Washer from Nissan and it's working like a charm. In case anyone is interested, the part number is 28628-11C00. Cost is about $7.50, which is much less than the $50 that the pump motor cost to replace.
  2. Thanks for the advice. I'll drop by the Nissan dealer and see if they have the part.
  3. The rear washer on my 97 Outback wagon leaks whenever I accelerate. The pump (which is located up front) works fine whenever I push the button on the control stalk. I've traced the tubing all the way to the back and into the tailgate and can't see any reason why it continues to leak water when under pressure. I talked to the dealer who thought it might have been a faulty pump, so I replaced that over the weekend. Still it leaks. I've looked at the wiper unit (on the rear) and to my untrained eyes it appears that the water simply passes through. Does anyone know if there is a pressure valve or something on the outside that might have fallen off and lets the water through? For the time being I have the nozzle plugged with some silicon - which seems to have done the trick - but I would like to get it fixed and working properly
