  1. Hey everyone- I've been periodically checking this board ever since I got my Outback Wagon in 2002. You guys run a great site. I've tried searching the archives to find the answer to my question, but haven't found one that answers it, so here goes... The dealer told me that I should have my transmission fluid flushed and changed at 25,000 miles. I asked a mechanic that used to work on my old Accord, and he said that as long as the fluid is clean and the transmission is running well (it's an automatic), that I shouldn't mess with it, and that flushing it might cause more trouble than it would help. I'm at 36,000 miles without a flush, and thought I would come here for a second opinion. Anyone have any opinions about this? Cheers, HC
  2. it's actually not an ipod, and I'm hoping to get it to work with my current stereo. If I wanted to, I could buy a new one with an aux input built in and be good to go... rweddy, thanks for your help and let me know what you find out. Cheers
  3. oh well, wish you had checked. This guy on ebay had my unit for sale. This is the front: I've got an in-dash cd player below it. This is the back: He claims it will control Subaru OEM disc changer... I'm assuming I'm using that for my in-dash cd player. Do you think, I can install a switch and connect both. Any ideas??
  4. Hey everyone- I just got a new mp3 player, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with hooking up an external source to the factory stereo. I've got a 2002 Outback, with the standard AM/FM cassette stereo with the in-dash single CD player. Anybody have any ideas?? Other than a crappy FM transmitter or cassette adapter...
