  1. I have the 17-inch wheels on my new Outback. Which tire would you suggest I buy for Winter use?? The Michelin Defender OR the Bridgestone Blizzak?? Thx in advance. Johnny in the Rockies of Colorado.
  2. Can't seem to find HOW I PM any poster. This is for ShawnW. When you say you buy bulk thru your shop. Where, how, etc. etc.?? THX Happy new year.
  3. Anyone find bulk prices somewhere for the 2012 oil plug crush washers...which are suppose to be replaced each time the oil is changed?? THX
  4. Are you Subaru gurus replacing the oil drain plug crush washer each time you change oil. Last change, mine started to drip. Simply more a mess than anything else. THX.
  5. Thx to the poster right before me. Subaru today told me the yellow means low level: the red one means low pressure. THX for the info. ANother tech told me after a couple "drive" cycles, the yellow icon will go "off".
  6. Just me again. Rather than drive the 70 plus miles to erase the code, I did the old "take battery cable off" trick AND so far, so good. She will drive it today to the gym and let me know. THX and have a safe, healthy and happy new year.
  7. Changed oil in my new Subaru Outback. Low oil pressure light came on. Checked dipstick. Left car in shop. Spoke with tech at dealership. He asked: "Did you leave the key in the ignition when you drained the oil?" MY reply: YES! He said: "Bring it in and I will erase the code. It's ok to drive". I asked: "Why can't I find that info in my owner's manual?" He said: "Subaru doesn't want you to know everything". I have taught my wife to "pull over and shut it off", read the manual, call me IF any warning lights come on. Oh, for the latest in technology. Isn't it just GRAND??
