Battery seems good, showing 12.78 volts... I made a video to show what it's like to start..

Ok I'll try a volt meter, what reading should I be seeing? It's not slow when turing over, sounds normal..

Mines having a hard time starting but always does.. I'm showing 8-9 volts with key in ignition right before it starts and 12 when it runs. Wondering if I need a new battery?

Thanks guys, yah seems the bit kept wandering on me. I was applying a good amount of pressure as I think the bits were of poor quality.. Broke a couple of the small ones.. I did get exactly in the middle, I added electrical tape all around the end of the punch just big enough to fit in the rim hole! I'm thinking it may be easier for me to just order the hubs with the holes in them.. Anyone wanna make me some hubs!?

Yah I used a drill press but I think the bit was just moving off my mark as I was drilling.. Here are pics...

Where can I find those headlight grills!? I searched the Google, no dice..

I tried drilling my front hubs last night and I was sure I did everything correctly but now one of the bolts out of six looks a little off and not centered in the hole. I bent it down the best I could and the lug nut is about half way in. The rims take shank style bolts.. So now the wheels wobble a bit past 60 and I'm sure the wheels were balanced when I got them a few months ago from a shop. Anyone have thoughts on how to fix this?

My cv joints are shredding since the lift. I read the other threads on here and it seems like I have done everything correctly. I have a 86 Brat with the sjr 4" lift extensions.

I picked up some sweet 6 bolt Chevy Hurricane/Turbine rims and they came with shank nuts, 1.5" long 7/16 20 thread. I found the lug bolts to match them but the shoulder of the bolts are smaller than the ones in my Brat. I was going to just re-drill all six holes but then realized I might not be able to line the hub up with the rim properly.... I'm having difficulties finding the 1.5" long 7/16 20 thread bolts with a wide enough shoulder. Looks like 1/2" wide shoulder correct? Any thoughts on the best way to do this? Here's a pic of the rim... Not the same tire anymore...

I was checking out my carb (weber) today and noticed only one fuel jet was squirting fuel when I tugged on the throttle. Is this normal? Im guessing the second fuel jet engages when i hammer the gas pedal?

I'd try that for sure but it's a Weber carb.. Can I check that some other way?

I have a 86 Brat and it's having a hard time starting but once she starts she's running no problems. I think it's the pump as it looks really old.. Hey there I had alook underneath and noticed above the flexible break line is a hard metal line.. Is it ok to loosen that to get the space? I just take the line off of that clip??

Has anyone extended their rear brake lines for a lift? Know where I can find the lines to order online?

Has anyone had to lengthen their rear brake lines with the 4" lift? I read somewhere that you don't have to however it looks like I need to lengthen mine to get the rear lift going....

No worries guys, thanks for all the info!! The front is lifted but I need to get the top strut plates at 17 degrees 4" high.. Anyone feel like making them up this week and sending them out? Name your price!

So she still won't go into reverse. The shifter seems to be blocked by the 4x4 lever and not letting to go into reverse... The wheels are still bowed in. For the top of the struts I just used the same 2x4 spacers I used in the body lift.
