Its better just dyi maintenance and not get the esp my 1998 Ford Expedition I got new has got 279000 on it and till recently I only have done maintenance to it. Dont know how bad Subaru is if you have a problem but getting Chrysler to fix anything is like pulling teeth!

I have had two cars with ESP the first one was a third party company the head was bad the dealership could not fix it so they put in a used engine did not work right was all gummed up had to swap out parts andit never worked right. Traded it in on a jeep jk like the jeep but has a lot of electrical problems they can not fix it so now its going through lemon law.The jeep has the chrysler maximum care lifetime extended warranty and its not worth anything it was $3080

I have a Jeep jk and I know a few people that use the high temperature bbq paint on on the exhaust. I have never tried it.

Im cool and did not take offense personally just dont like it when someone makes fun of others. Volunteer at a place that works with a lot of underprivileged kids. Didn't mean to snap like that. See it alot with the kids and the adults there.

Its not as bad as Ooltewah Tn was there for a few years crazy rednecks. Im on the lake so i dont see a lot of that.

I work at the old Midwest Express hangar the company that bought ME is in the Subaru VIP program so I will see what kind of deal I can get. And the crud-a-hy thing doesn't bother me it was cheap and next to work and not my primary residence All the crazy bars there are fun!

Looking at the Outback have a Jeep jk now but haveing lots of problems. Got the Jeep when I was in TN. not a lot of mountains in Wisconsin so its not as fun
