    I tried to magnetic pole and could not find it. Thanks for the info on the bolt size. If i cant find it tomorrow then I will go that route. Thanks

    I don't have a lot a experience working on cars but replacing the knock sensor seemed pretty straight forward and it was going fine. I removed the old one and clipped the new one on and was trying to line up the hole to screw it back down and I lost the bolt. It is somewhere in the engine bay and I will try to look for it again tomorrow if I can jack it up to get room. If I cant find it does anyone know what size bolt will work or does it have to a subaru specific bolt. 2001 Subaru Forester 2.5 knock sensor Thanks
