  1. 86 gl not reving over 2000 rpms

    86glidaho posted a topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
    I have an 1986 Subaru gl 4x4 and for some reason it is not reving over 2000 rpms will start and idle fine when I go to give it gas it revs up and the most it will go to is 2000 rpms not sure what it is seems likes it fuel or a solenoid somewhere just don't know where to begin checking
