Hello, I'm new to the board. I came here for advice on this same topic. What would be the torque sequence and torque as in ft lbs. be for a 1997 dohc? Something in noob form. I dunno how to read what it says in the google doc, this bit below. Tightening torque: N·m (kg-m, ft-lb) T1: <Ref. to 2-3b [W4E0].> T2: 5 (0.5, 3.6) T3: 10±0.7 (1.0±0.07, 7.2±0.5) T4: 20±2 (2.0±0.2, 14.0±1.4) I read also that it's a sequence in 2 progressive steps to 14.5ft lbs. What does the 2 progressive steps refer to? Sry if I sound like I've never done this before, that's because it is my first time. I need to change head gaskets. I just don't want to over torque the bearing cap bolts. So if someone can explain it in an easy step by step guide and show the torque pattern that would be GREAT! Thanks, John
