AB/S05Bean

We have an 05 OB Bean and love the power and handling with the 3.0 H6. the gas mileage is not quite as promised, but should improve at about 6-7000 miles(we have 4000). We get about 16 city and 23 highway. It really is a very comfortable car to drive and has no problems even in the most severe weather situations.

what you want are the Nokian WR's . You get great snow/ice traction (snowflake-hazzard rating ) and nice smooth ride on dry pavement. Leave them on year round and you should get 50-55000 miles on them. The only problem for me is that they are $180.00 a piece for my 17 inch (225/55/R17) wheels.

Since we were going all out when we bought our first subie,an 05 OB LLBean, we went ahead and payed the extra 6 or 7 bucks a month for the Ext. warr.. I figured it should be a good deal since Subaru is backing it themselves, and not some shmuck insurance company. Has anyone had any good or bad experience with Subies extended warranty?

hello, I am a first time subaru owner with a 2005 atlantic blue / silver Outback LL Bean. I absolutely love the car and was sold by 1- how solid it is (that fantastic thud when you close the door ), 2- the 5 star crash rating. All my previous vehicles have been GM crap which start having major problems around 130,000 miles. I am impressed with the volume of chat on the net concerning subarus, 95% of which is good. I searched chat groups for pontiac transports and found one site with 18 entries since 1996- Boy theyr'e excited about thier rigs . My Bean also came with a subwoofer-HOW I LOVE THAT MUSICAL BEAT ON MY HEATED LEATHER SEAT! Later
