Hey!,been a while.Finally I am getting a chance to rebuild my 87 Gl10 ea82T:cool: !! Just a few Q's?, like what should I do(I have 2 ea82T,1 in and 1 out)as a "re build" on the 1 thats out. I want to rebuild it and drop it in. It over heated(apparently) and siezed one of the timing belt pullies.What would a complete rebuild(rings,head gasket,and new seals)co$t(apx.)How far of a rebuild should I do?What Should I replace while I have a engine out?The 1 thats in there runs but has a blown head gasket and the other 1 (so he says)has better compression then the other.Tell me what to do!! I want to get it running ASAP!!!Let me know (those who have)how your rebuild went and what you did.Also what would a rebuilt ea82T block be worth to som1 on here. ThanX:drunk:

Should I do the timing chains at the same time(sounds like a good idea to me but...)? Do I need a lift to get it(engine)out or could 2 of us lift it out? what about a lift kit but with the same tires 195 70r 13? Waht are a good set for on and off roading? Thanx fox. oh ya how bout a turbo rehab...do I need?

So sincer I am pulling the engine to do the head gskt on my 87 GL10(since lots of steem is coming from the THROTTLE BODY:D )what are the best mods(in a poor mans price range)To do at the same time?I love this car and want to give her some(what I can get)"power and speed"but keep the off road ability for some Florida fun. Im happy today cause of the 87 gl10 turbo4wd I just bought(160$).Shes in like new condition but has a blown head gskt(i suspect since coolent is coming out of the carb..am i right?).How can I be sure its the head gskt?How difficult is the head gskt to do on these?What kind of price and were is the place(or board member)that would have a good price on it?What else should I do at the same time?I have many years on a wrench but have never had to do a headgskt.Any info or ideas would be great. Thanx and its nice to be back on the board;)

Well im thinking about buying(I have my mind made up all ready)this 1987 GL10 turbo wagon.Its in great shape and has MANY(including another whole engien)spair parts.
