Okay. I have a 1990 Legacy wagon that's falling apart EXCEPT for the engine which is still great at 133K. I recently (6 months ago) and against the advice of my better half, bought a 2000 Forester 5 speed manual with 160 on the clock. I changed the clutch (and axle) but like a fool neglected to change the timing belt. Result, currently running (sort of) on 3 cylinders lol.
So the obvious: how feasable would it be to put the phase I 2.2 in where the 2.5 phase II was?
Any thoughts appreciated...and bear in mind IDKS about this, thanks.
