That's what I've been worried about. Roughly how much would repairing such things run me. And is it worth my time.

Thats good to know. One thing that worries me is if things need to be replaced like timingbelt ect.

So I need help once again on deciding of this car is worth the money. The owner said he swapped the engine for a 2005 Saab 9-2x. Not to sure if the engine is reliable or if it was a good idea to put into a Subaru. I'm not educated to know the pros and con's of doing so. This will be my daily driver. So I need a reliable car. Also wondering what things I should look into that will need repaired or replaced with it having the mileage it has. The body is in less then good shape. Paint is worn peeling and so on. Sweet thanks for the a fast reply. I'm just worried about paying and then adding on another 1-2000 for a tranny. Now the engine is what you mean is a time bomb?

So this may not be the best place to post this but I need help on deciding if this legacy is worth the money. It is an 05 legacy gt limited auto trans. Yes its auto, can't afford a manuel at this time. But that aside here is a link to the Craigslist- added at the bottom of post. It currently has 191*** miles. Its a concern to me that it has so much.
