  1. I adjusted the carb by sound, so I backed it off till it allmost died, then turned it till it started running smooth. All in all I would say about 2 3/4 turns.
  2. 1984 DL wagon - Rusty the Iron Oxide Warrior
  3. Thanks all. found it and got it finished before the sun went down. Checked my milage and I am getting 33 MPG on the highway. No tach so I have no idea my RPM at the time.
  4. 1984 Subaru DL wagon All original (as far as I can tell) I am currently trying to adjust my carberator and can not find the fuel flow adjust screw. I dissconnected all the vaccum lines and cleaned the carb body up a bit (this is a dirty, dirty engine ) and the only adjustment screw i found was the on the throttle body. I have posted a picture of the carb, and the red arrow is the throttle adjust. If anyone knows where the thing is, I would be very happy. I am currently out in the shop and checking back every 10-20 minutes, so reply may take a bit. Scott.
  5. been looking for 3 days and cant find where the flasher fuse goes in my car, anyone have any help? it is a 1984 DL wagon and i have taken the dash apart looking, cant find a box under the hood either. first Sub so i am lost.
  6. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it gets a wee bit cold at night, but when i heat my 1984 DL wagon up in the morning the automatic choke sticks and if the heater is on, it over heats in less than 10 minutes. but if the heater is off, it will not overheat. this seems backwards to me, please any ideas would help on how to fix this.
  7. I am looking for the oil capacities (trans and transfer) and the weight. having a really hard time locating any info.
