  1. The issue with ea81/82 loyale rears is the mount with perpendicular two bolt bracket, see Numbchux's photo of Miata test fit, but you can adapt struts to fit this, they just need to be shorter and have correct spring rate/ damping. I am trying to work this out myself for a brat/ brumby. The key to a 5 lug swap is go EJ hubs/ suspension in the front and xt6 in the rear or use adapters plates.
  2. I know this has been covered before, but I still am not sure I have it worked out. I have some l-series/ loyale rear coilovers that can be fited in a brumby with a mounting plate welded in, but they are way too long. I want to drop my brumby and improve handling. I will be doing a five lug swap. Ej20t in the pipeline too. So, I know Miata/mx5 struts can be mounted, with a sleeve, does this lower/ stiffen rear end? If so by how much? I was wondering if Scion tC rear struts might work with loyale springs, coil seats, bump stops etc, without the sleeve? No Scions in Oz so has anyone tried this in the US? Are there any other rear coil over options? Thanks in advance.
  3. Greetings to all, just joined the forum. I am a Subaru fan with an 89 Brumby/ Brat project car, a 92 parts car and a 2010 Outback daily driver, soon to be a 2015. I used to have a jap import legacy b4 RSK which I sorely miss! I hope to learn and contribute on this forum. I look forward to chatting to you all. Cheers
