Hi, from shuttayaface; just had front bearings replaced, and drove for 12 k's got to my stret to find sonds coming from my front rhs wheel knocking gear teeth are missing and wouldn't move when clutch was let out only a grinding noise. Didnt want to do moore damage so put in 4x4 and just went slow to get home. pulled off wheel/brake caliper,and brake disk, no sign of damage there. Gripped the shaft with vice grips and locked them from turning placed big spanner on locked lock nut on shaft and turned , this put pressure on the outer cv joint but it held strongly with no signs of failure, What Next ???? Any ideas would be appreciated best regards
