  1. So I figured out what the problem is! I pulled out the axle and ran the test again with all wheels in the air and on D position and sure enough the clunking you hear in the videos is coming from inside the differential arghh!  :Flame:  ! I hope this helps someone in search for an answer to their clunking noise coming from the front suspension, in this case, the driver side. This bad bit*h is going to the shop immediately and will be back and rumbling!

  2. Put it up on a lift and try to turn the front wheels while in park.  Could be a broken short shaft ( between the axle and trans.)

Ok will do! Man I'm just praying to the subaru gods it doesn't break my bank and then some lol my car won't turn the wheels if its in park even if the wheels are in the air. Im assuming you meant neutral? or maybe It does i don't recall ever trying that. In the video I'm uploading to youtube so i can link here i have the car jacked up with all wheels in the air and in Drive, the left driver side wheel and axle is barely able to keep up with the other side front passenger you will see what i mean when i put the video up the clunking noise is coming from in between the axle (cv joint/boot side) to where it connects to front diff (hoping not from the inside!)
