  1. There is a youtube video on disabling the vdc it involves removingthe top 7.5 amp fuse which is upside down after doing this you need a screwdriver to get it into gear by removing the plug next to gear shift lever. Have not done this myself but apparently it works then when your done you just putthe fuse back in. Wish someone would come up with a aftermarket to turn off vdc . My 2011ranger allows you to turn off the vdc and the traction control by holding the tc button in until the light comes back on while truck innuetral
  2. We just got a 2016 crossrek in december we love it.....but I was thinking why cant I take a 2.5 ltr and the transmission from a forester and put it into the crosstrek? With the more power and the adjustable range transmission then the 2 inch primitive lift to fit the bfg all terrains then id have something. Is it possible? Please no crazy sugesstions like sti motor or 2 litr turbo forester motor looking just for more grunt more offroad capability. My vehicle is a 2011 ranger 4x4 with 31x10.50 at tires I go through some srious stuff with that. Would like cheryls crosstrek to maybe almost keep up
