  1. As this is a project car, still have yet to get any parts for it. I did some diagnosing (test connector under dash you need to ground out to get airbag codes) I got 2 codes.. kinda funny you'd think you would get codes for the entire system? I will be buying both airbags, control module, clockspring, and both impact sensors to be safe.. B0024 Description: This Relates to Voltage Out of Range / Short to Ground in Driver - Left Front Frontal Deployment Loop, Single Stage or Stage 1 B0012 Description: This Relates to Circuit for Passenger - Right Front Frontal Deployment Loop
  2. I'm going to assume that it had a cable operated clutch cable? If you want the clutch to grab off of the floor you would usually do it by the book. Loosen the clutch cable on the fork until there's play and tighten it up until there's about 1/8 (don't quote this I believe that's the tolerance) play on the fork.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toXUSQ9Laus This is pretty much the only sound clip I actually like. It's not annoying, it's nice and low and throaty. Think those turbo mufflers will make it sound anything like this??
  4. Could you give a link the muffler, maybe I'll have them make me a cat back and just clamp the muffler instead of welding it on so I can change it if it's not what I'm looking for. I want a nice deep rumble. Not straight piped loud, but close! Lol. I'll look on YouTube and find a Subaru that kinda sounds like what I'm after. Thanks a lot for SO much information!!
  5. I've searched the internet up and down..I just can't seem to find a cat back exhaust for my Subaru. Any of you guys know where I could find a cat back exhaust for my 96 Subaru Outback 2.2? Starting to think I might have to go to a muffler shop and have them fab me up a custom exhaust. I have Custom Uel headers on it, and want it to sound deep... but not so stupid loud you can't talk or hear the radio. I'm open to idea's on mufflers!
  6. http://www.igotasubaru.com/archive/index.php/t-36.html Pretty sure that tells me everything I need to know, thanks everyone!
  7. I'm getting pretty confident that 02-07 should work. Should I remove the 2" body spacer also?
  8. I read that 02-07 Wrx struts work. Well at least that's what they figure! Haha. So does it make sense that if the struts work, Coilovers made for that vintage should work also?
  9. I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find Coilovers for my outback. I did find Coilovers for a Impreza wagon, will those fit on my outback? I've read somewhere that there's a lot of parts that interchange with each other. Thanks!
  10. Didn't read that quite correctly, I've heard a lot of guys having troubles with the wires.
  11. Could you give me a link? I've tried searching but can't find it. User error most likely haha!
  12. Hi, I just joined! I have a few questions about my subaru because I'm stumped and can't find a whole lot of information about it. I have a 96' Subaru Outback and both airbags have been deployed. I have sourced down the steering wheel and passenger airbags for a really good deal. What I'm wondering is there anything else that needs to be replaced? A control module or impact sensor? Thanks!
