  1. its a manual steering model Thanks GD ill get a new line, only a few ounces of fluid leaked out. Maybe because its at the top of the engine??
  2. I was working on my 86 Carbd GL and i broke managed to break this hose off. Im looking to buy a replacement but im not sure what part number it is or even what system its a part of. The hose was under my Carb and leaked a pinkish liquid when it broke off. Please let me know if you know what this hose is for and what part number i should be looking for. all help is appreciated, Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the reply, i just prefer the 05+ body styles. The 04 H6 swap would suffice do you know if there are any writeups on a manual swap into an 04 LL bean? Thanks for the reply!
  4. Which would be the better route to go, i want to build a 5 speed manual H6 06 outback. from what ive read, swapping an H6 into the H4 body will cause tons of wiring issues and more things to pay for. Would it be best to just get the LL Bean and do a 5 speed swap? im not seeing any forums anywhere where this has been done. If so how difficult would it be in terms of a subie tranny swap? Would i need a stand alone TCU or can i trick it into thinking its in neutral?? Any advice, tips, or PREFERABLY WRITE UPS AND DIAGRAMS would help greatly! Cheers!
  5. I know i know, ive been using the search function for awhile and cant find a solid answer. Ive got a push button 5sp and it has just hit the grave, she grinds extremely loud when i release the clutch and try to put it in gear. im doing a Dual range swap soon from a fulltime awd 1989 RX with hi/lo and just need to know if ill need a new driveshaft, and if i can keep my current axles! i found a site that sells them cheap mine will only have 83,000m and it only cost 400!!!i need to get my car running again so i can go to work... i know this is a direct plug and play otherwise, but will their be any wiring i need to worry about? and is there any method anyone knows of to hookup the hi/lo gears without the interior trim? and if i cant keep my axles what year should i be looking for? can i keep my current transfer case? Much thanks in advance! this is my first swap of any sort so any help, tips, tricks, are appreciated!!
