thanks olnick after i posted this i did another search and found the info i was looking for but would like to hear of others who have done this swap and any problems and solutions

good afternoon to all , i know you have probably answered this question many times "somewhere" in your vast amount of information but when i searched it there were 0 results so my question is...i have a 2001 forester with a ej25 sohc, overheated popped the radiator and thus ruined the engine i found a 1999 legacy with a good ej22 engine dirt cheap both engines are non egr can this swap be done easily, i can do the work just my first subaru.. thanks for the input
