Sorry about that.. Impreza 2000 2.2 L

Hi, Yesterday I pushed in my clutch to go into reverse as I was in a parking lot. Then just snap, my clutch went to the floor, and would not retract. I got towed by my brother back to my house.. This morning I found a plastic bushing or something that looks like it broke off.. So, My car still starts if I push the clutch down. I can retract it manually and the spring is still good, but it has no ability to retract on it's own. I can't find any diagram to see where it goes so I can get a new one and do it myself. I looked for a good 10 mins at the clutch pedal and still can't seem to understand where it broke off of. Can anyone please help me out here? Maybe a part number? Hello everyone once again, I have finally found the motor I am putting in my 2000 impreza 2.2L The ej20det. Now the company that told me about the engine said it was DET, so now this confuses me, so many people say it's just ej20t. Maybe it's because it's from japan? Anyway.. I am mainly posting to ask you guys what exactly I will need for this conversion and where I may start to search for it and any links that would help. I don't have 4 hours of my day everyday too search and search. Just any links you guys know would be awesome. I know I need a ECU. I think I need a wiring harness, he said I could maybe use the same harness and just rewire the harness. But I don't know for sure. I am also wondering the stock horsepower of the ej20det. The guy I was talking to said it was closer to the hp of the sti in america stock. And if there is anything else I need to know before trying to do this off of my brothers, dad's and my knowlege alone. Then please help me. Thanks.

I'm actually concidering the ej20t turbo.

It is manual, and now I'm having trouble finding a motor, I e-mailed nippon motors about one they have and they sent me a e-mail back about a 2.5rs motor witch I don't want if I can get this, Plus is a $1,000 more. If any of you know where to get a EJ20T, That would be awesome. I need a ECU and WIring harness then? Ok Where do I get those I can search it up but maybe you guys can help me find better sites and or prices, that I won't beable to just search. Thanks.

Alrighty now, I have a Impreza 2000 2.2L and Want to swap to either a EJ20T or anything else haha, my crankshaft bearing is going out due to the person who drove it before me. I baught this car for $5,000 and it needs a motor pronto. Anyway I was thinking of the ej20t.. Can this be done? What would I have to do to beable to do this? What parts would I need? If the ej20t won't work what will work with still having it upgraded? Thanks.
