  1. Oh awesome thank you scott. I'll pull the old engine out of the scrap pile and use that. Thanks again.
  2. I swapped a 1999 EJ22 in place of my EA in my 87 wagon. I used the adapter plate from SJR, I assume the two tabs pointing up are for some sort of Mount for a pitch stop? What are people generally doing for a pitch stop? My wagon is also lifted 4 inches which will put it at more of an angle, do people make any changes for that? Pictures of what the tabs on the SJR adapter are for would be helpful I think also.
  3. Hamsamssquanch, where are you from? I live about 45 minutes from John subaru, usta live about 5 minutes from him in laurelwood.
  4. Sounds like the arms were installed in the wrong timing during the "rotation" of the wiper motor. This is what I would do, assuming that the "park function" of your wiper motor isn't working correctly. First remove both wiper arms. Turn the wiper motor on and watch the studs turn, they should have about a 90 degree travel back and forth. Turn the wiper motor off right when they finish their counter clockwise travel and are about to start their clockwise travel. (Probably take a few trys to get it stopped in the right spot) Reinstall wiper arms with about an inch of gap below them and the bottom trim of the window. Assuming something isn't wrong with the actually transmission of your wiper system that should put your wipers in the correct orientation.
