  5. I picked up a 93 5speed legacy thought it was a good deal, turns out it wasn't, but I still need to put it together for my sister to drive. I changed out the engine because I found a gouge in the crank and on the face of the crank pulley, I was told it was a good engine. So I picked up the car with the transmission olsitting in the back of the car and now I get the fun job of putting the puzzle back together that somebody else took apart. Any pictures or links and info would be greatly appreciated

  7. I'm sure this has been debated to no end but, I have to buy some here really soon. I know what to put on a phase 2 engine but I don't think they make gaskets for a phase 1 engine
  8. I can make anything work I put a 2 1/2" flowmaster on a Geo metro cause it was all I had laying around (yes the three cylinder one) boy that was loud

  13. I'm not looking to really go bigger more of just making a little more noise over stock
  14. have you pulled out the resonators and gone with a muffler or left them in
  15. so what is an inexpensive way to get a little extra sound out of the outbacks weather you just hack off the muffler and add a piece of pipe or is there a bolt on kit that works well? it is a little too quiet for me but i dont want the full ricer exhaust just enough to give it a nice tone. i was given a unequal length header when i picked up the engine that i put in the car, (had some cracks in the welds) i have a welder and can fab up anything i need to, let me know what you guys used
  16. I found it How likely is it to fail and or how likely is the problem to be somewhere else
  17. I just got the car on the road and the p0066 code pops air assisted injector low where to start diagnosing it
  18. I don't know much about which engines will work with what years but can I use a 05 shortblock in a 02 car and not have to change anything but the heads?
  19. Do the outbacks have a cabin filter and if so where? I doubt the ac drain is clogged, it has been cold where I am so there has been no reason to run the ac, I'll check it anyway just as a process of elimination it is possible that I might have moved the heater core lines in a way it might have broken the flange seals
