    Positioning of fuel filter? 

    I'm wondering if the positioning of the fuel filter is correct as I've laid it out on my car? I've placed the round part of the filter facing the front of the engine, is this right, or should it be the flat part of the filter facing the engine? :confused:

    Subaru XT 1986.

    Any help as always appreciated
