Bringing this thread back from the dead because I just sorted this out on my car.
The red/green wire to the driver's door power locks is spliced into the factory security system wiring harness behind the driver's kick panel.
The security system harness has a red wire (with a stripe), and a pink wire (with a stripe) that drop down behind the driver's kick panel. Each is attached to an end of the severed red/green wire with a consumer-grade, red, butt crimp connector.
If you take out the factory security system, to get your driver's power door lock to work, cut the red(w/stripe) and pink(w/stripe) wires behind the kick panel and crimp the original red/green wire back together. Then the driver's power door lock should just work!
