  1. The rear wheel wells are now welded, sealed with silicone sealant and topped off with some harbor freight bedliner. Tires clear the rear with about a 1/2"+ from the body, so the next adventure is lift because the front tires don't have enough clearance to turn.
  2. You live in the area? Still allot to do, runs n moves but I still need a radiator, fans and haven't even begun to start wiring, plan on starting all that after vacation
  3. Stitching the passenger side wheel well back to the body after cutting a few inches off.
  4. Been working on this thing quite a bit lately a year or more later, kind of went on the back burner for awhile.... Been cutting up the body to fit 235/75R15 tires... Tacked the exhaust, it's done now, has some random fart can I had laying around on the end of it, O2 sensor welded in the J pipe I fabbed up 6 lug conversion is finished, learned one of my drum brakes is a gen 3 assembly, was having a really hard time finding brake shoes for it...
  5. If only I had the time lol. I still gotta finish mine. Just got it running though..
  6. This pile finally moved on its own power for the first time in awhile out of my garage lol. Got the fuel pump mounted and some wires ran to it zip tied to the hardlines. Plus a night time pic on its good side.
  7. Here's a video, about the 3rd time I started it after realizing the return line was leaking at the firewall.. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1808120115899415&id=100001043335691
  8. I had the fuel supply and return lines backwards at the fuel rail, it lives! Still need a fuel filter though...
  9. Hooked up the noid light and got injector pulse, won't fire though. got fuel, spark, injector pulse, I don't have an O2 sensor yet though.
  10. Been awhile since I've even touched this thing. But made some progress yesterday. Got spark n fuel, not sure if the injectors are firing or not, might be missing a ground somewhere in the harness. So I changed all the fuel lines underneath and figured out where I want to mount the fuel pump. Gunna run wires to it from where the plug was on the EJ harness.
  11. Haven't had anything to update for awhile had to put a new clutch in the daily VW Rabbit. Had a tranny seal blow out and coat everything in gear oil, causing it to slip. I'll get back to it soon.
  12. The spacer I made out of 1/2" pipe and some longer m6x1.0 bolts, cut 2 peices of pipe to 5/8" roughly and had to back the cable adjuster out as far as physically possibly.
  13. Depends on which route your going, just using the engine harness I imagine doesn't require alot of wiring. Where were you planning on mounting the fuel pump? I'm just gunna screw it into the frame rail near the gas tank.
  14. The original wiring in this thing was a mess, switches wired everywhere and random wires here and there. The dash is almost cracked in half too plus all the gauges will read correctly, ya I know it's alot of work, I've already done it in my rabbit when the ABA was swapped in but I feel like it's worth the extra effort. Just need to splice in lights, blower motor, wipers and ignition. Extend the fuel pump wires and brake light switch wires. That is not the fuel pump I'm using lol. It was on the car when the Weber and ea81 were in it I just haven't removed it from the hardline yet. Don't worry, but good eye haha
  15. This awesome peice of machinery. I ran into more than a few connectors that wouldn't reach with the cluster sitting where it should also the driver side front headlight wiring was a little too far away too. So I pulled all the wiring back out and ran it how I originally ran it but this time yarded the blower box out. Everything reaches now hopefully this is how it's going to sit for good for the most part anyway. Also put the plug wires in, put a oil filter and some oil in it too.
  16. What year? I was big into the minitruck scene years ago, when the B2200 trucks are converted to EFI they have nearly the same size hardlines as this DL. So I figure it shouldn't really be an issue.
  17. Well I've been wondering about that. So instead of wasting my time at pick n pull, and because the weather is crap lol. I ordered a barb adapter and some 1/4" efi hose. If it doesnt work that well, I only spent 15 bucks so not a big deal. I'll just have to find a hard-line then.
  18. That was my thoughts as well but if a bigger hard-line can some how be attached to the tank without restriction it would flow better.
  19. Thinking about getting this fuel pump, I know it's made in China... But it's the cheap, new cheap. So I'm debating it. https://m.ebay.com/itm/New-High-Performance-Inline-Fuel-Pump-255LPH-For-Nissan-240SX-300ZX-SR20DET-350Z-/302357572710 Gunna hit pick n pull this weekend and try to rob a fuel feed hard-line out of a EA82. I guess I'll figure out how it might work with the DL tank after I get it. If it doesn't I'm debating on getting some 1/4" efi hose and some 5/16" to 1/4" barb adapters and just using the stock lines
  20. This is what was all wired into rear taillight harness with some on/off switch as well Got alot done the last few days, modded the torque strut to bolt to the adapter plate. Cut it and threaded the rod to m10x1.25 Started routing all the wiring, gunna have to extend some things but not much. After wrestling things in and out out the raintray holes a couple times, kinda got things to fit, the fuse box and ECU are going on the passenger side. Bolted the header on, I'm missing a stud for some reason though. Got lost in the legacy disassembly. Opened up the passenger side hole to fit the grommet in.
  21. You should be OK as long as it's not showing symptoms of blown headgaskets I wouldn't worry too much. Mine had all the symptoms. But at 270k it probably should. I still have a list of things to get done, just really tight on money right now so not alot is gunna happen for awhile.
  22. Got my drive belt from rockauto today, a whole 7 bucks including shipping.
  23. I've been wondering about the fuel lines on this thing before I even pulled the EA out and I found a post last night about how the older EA81 cars varied in the fuel supply and return lines. Some only had 2 some had 3 lines. But the return is tiny, almost like the vacuum and return are the same size, I gotta follow lines and double check to make sure I even have 3.
  24. Good to know, my EA81 cable was in bad shape. The plastic liner was held on there with a house clamp near the firewall and was broken in another spot.
