  1. Would anyone happen to know the part numbers for the units that could work? Or the ohm range to look for? I have a local Subaru dealer that is willing to look if I can come up with a part number. Thanks again.
  2. So I bought my first Subaru last year, a 1985 Brat, out of a field. So far I have dropped the fuel tank and had it acid dipped then resealed at a shop a few miles south of me. The tank of was full of rust and old nasty gas that had started to turn solid. The only problem is the Fuel Meter Sending Unit was completely corroded up, so when I pulled the nuts and pulled it out she broke into multiple pieces. So the project has been put on hold until as of late. I was wondering since all avenues of finding a direct replacement part are leading to the word DISCONTINUED, is there another way to go? Such as running a unit out of another model or is there a universal replacement that I can get. All input and advice is much appreciated at this point.
