  1. Hi, everybody!

The problem is a little bit different this time. My '86 Leone is working perfectly but I bought a Dodge Omni 1990. The big problem mof mine is that here in Romania there's only a few of this car, for example in my state there's only this one, and I cannot find some technical book or a repairing manual . If someone would help me with a Link to an online adress where it would be found, should make me very happy.

    Thanks to everyone.

  2. Hi everybody!

The problem was that the pump inside has a Plunger wich sends the fuel to the carburetor. But this plunger weared the cylinder where it's working so the blocking of the plunger was inevitable.

The fault wasn't electrical because with a control lamp first of all I controlled the power taping and it was OK.

Then I found the pump of an EJ10 what fittes perfectly and ready to go.

Than you for your kind help.

  3. The bigest problem is that here in Europe, it,s dificult to find parts for American machines.

Today bought a fuel pump for an injection car but the deyt and pressure of the fuel is too high.

Can someone tell me a machine model ( an europen one) where ti fit a pump like mine?

Or maybe has anyone a bosch code of an equivalent pump?

  4. Hi,

I have a problem with my Soob: Need some codes for rear suspention unit those one what has adjustable height spring supports. My Soob is an '86 GL 4WD Coupe and the rear suspention unit is dead, but even the coils are a little bit gone because the height of the car is 15mm and the tyres are worn in the internal part.

So those one who has this information please give it . Thanks!!!

Maybe would you give me a link to a catalogue of Suub parts... Maybe.

    At least Thank You!!!

  5. Last winter I heard some pinking from my 86' GL Coupe 4WD. Now in spring I planned to solve this problem. First I bought two rockers, to have the necessary spare parts at hand. Then started with desmounting to the timing belts.

Then started to desmount the outer walve cower, 5piece of 12mm bolts. After that wery carefully to not moisture anytying had to take out the 12 mm screws 8 pieces, than took out the axle. then rocker out, but first took the walvepushers out, and clean them.

Dismantling the rocker what I diagnosed by pushing it and feeling not so hard then the others, I cleaned it from dirty oil mud.

Then everything was remounted in the reverse order.

Wery much attention was added to the mountig with Gasket-sealant silicone to avoid oil leaking. The surfaces was cleaned with Loctite metal cleaner to permit a good aderence to silicone.

I take a big attention to the O-rings to be in good conditions to stop leaking.

All the job take 10 ours. That's all.

  6. Hi guys!

I put some auwfull fuel in my 86' gl 4WD Coupe, EA82 carb, and the engine started to knock and pinking. Neither the basic 800-900 rot/min wasn't work. After checkin' all the carb the diagnosis was wrong qulity fuel. This problem was solved with a few liters of good fuel. But from this moment when I try to accellerate quick with a brave push on the gas especially from 1400 to 2000 rot/min the engine starts to knocking. Is this because of the adwanse of ignition or because there is something finishing in the engine? The engine is in original situation after 170000Km. No touch at the spark distribuitor, in fact anywhere in the engine. Changed timing belts at 150000 Km.

Just cool me down that's not a big ****!

    thanks!!!!

  7. On my '86 4wd Loyale I discowered some interesting things.

First of all the front bearings was damaged and came the moment of changing. The question was wich bearing is adequate for my car. After disassembling the front I saw that the bearing is a common 6207 2Z roller bearing. So I bought 4 pieces two on each side and the problem was solwed with approx. 50Euro, instead of 200 Euro how much the Subaru dealer asked for.

Than at the crankshaft started to leak some oil. The original kit of Siimerings was 100 Euro. With a little bit of searching I found the same sealant elements made by SKF (a Brand) for a price of 20 Euro.

So let's check before of buy something.

Who need some technical information can ask for by sending a message to me.
