  2. Hi, everybody! The problem is a little bit different this time. My '86 Leone is working perfectly but I bought a Dodge Omni 1990. The big problem mof mine is that here in Romania there's only a few of this car, for example in my state there's only this one, and I cannot find some technical book or a repairing manual . If someone would help me with a Link to an online adress where it would be found, should make me very happy. Thanks to everyone.
  3. Cioa Bella, Hai pe un client mai accesibil(messenger): Skype . Am acelasi nick: ocsike74
  4. Hi Bella, I'm nereby you. The problem should be with your rear brake lamps. There's a consumption sensor C.I nereby the rear lamp support. Inspect the lamps and clean the contacts (like on the Dacia, but use some professional contact cleaner, without mechanical cleaning ). This should help you. If don't contact me.
  5. Hi, I made this modification, locating the pump under the hood. All that I had to do was:- plongue of the two wires under the car to under the hood; - install a by-pas tube in the place of the old fuel pump; - locate the new pump under the hood but try to find an adequate position so that the possibility of fire in the engine compartiment will be excluded.
  6. Hi everybody! The problem was that the pump inside has a Plunger wich sends the fuel to the carburetor. But this plunger weared the cylinder where it's working so the blocking of the plunger was inevitable. The fault wasn't electrical because with a control lamp first of all I controlled the power taping and it was OK. Then I found the pump of an EJ10 what fittes perfectly and ready to go. Than you for your kind help.
  7. The bigest problem is that here in Europe, it,s dificult to find parts for American machines. Today bought a fuel pump for an injection car but the deyt and pressure of the fuel is too high. Can someone tell me a machine model ( an europen one) where ti fit a pump like mine? Or maybe has anyone a bosch code of an equivalent pump?
  8. Subarian, this pump has the same caracteristics like the original one? ( debth, delivery pressure)
  9. Can you tell me something about codes or maybe a model of a car where can be found a similary pump?
  10. Hi, everybody, Can somebody tell me something about the fuel pump on a '86 carbureted GL 1800,4WD Sooby. My car is with fuel pump down. Please give me some part code or a similar car type or maybe a symilar puel punp type. Thank you.
  11. Hi, I have a problem with my Soob: Need some codes for rear suspention unit those one what has adjustable height spring supports. My Soob is an '86 GL 4WD Coupe and the rear suspention unit is dead, but even the coils are a little bit gone because the height of the car is 15mm and the tyres are worn in the internal part. So those one who has this information please give it . Thanks!!! Maybe would you give me a link to a catalogue of Suub parts... Maybe. At least Thank You!!!
  12. Wery well, don't forget, that allmost all the periodical service can do by you. It's wery easy. Good job.
  13. First change the first one because it should be full of Mud, then change tha other one under the hood. Don't be angry because it's not a big problem . Change all filters in regulary intervallum. the best should be to take out your tank and clean it...
  14. Hi, Don't be so afraid because of fuel filter. Just think that the cantity of mud in your filter was stopped in the filter in time. About me check the filter and change it only when the service interval is fullfilled, and in case of emergency.
  15. Last winter I heard some pinking from my 86' GL Coupe 4WD. Now in spring I planned to solve this problem. First I bought two rockers, to have the necessary spare parts at hand. Then started with desmounting to the timing belts. Then started to desmount the outer walve cower, 5piece of 12mm bolts. After that wery carefully to not moisture anytying had to take out the 12 mm screws 8 pieces, than took out the axle. then rocker out, but first took the walvepushers out, and clean them. Dismantling the rocker what I diagnosed by pushing it and feeling not so hard then the others, I cleaned it from dirty oil mud. Then everything was remounted in the reverse order. Wery much attention was added to the mountig with Gasket-sealant silicone to avoid oil leaking. The surfaces was cleaned with Loctite metal cleaner to permit a good aderence to silicone. I take a big attention to the O-rings to be in good conditions to stop leaking. All the job take 10 ours. That's all.
  16. Hi, everyone! Can somebody tell me wich diameter has the rear brake cylinder, on my 86' GL 1800 carbed coupe? 4 weeks ago mesured but now I don't remember if it was 17 or 19mm? And the parts retailer told me that 19mm sealant I will cannot find. Thank you!
  17. Hi! Let me tell you that I made the octane booster treatment yet, but the knocking doesn't disappear. It appears only for example: 4th speed on 35-40KM/H. But it eppears only after the famous moment of fillin' wrong benzin. Do you understand?
  18. In my opinion should be EA82. Look in the link send by calebz
  19. Thanks! I'll check, but later because now i'm dawnloading the gregory's subaru manual. One's again thanks 1
  20. Thanks, but my own Suby is a carburated one. So,your advece is listened, but should you find out some info about carbureted models? My one is a Hitachi. Thank you.
  21. Hi everybody! Can somebody tell me where should I download a service manual for my 86' carbed GL 1800 FWD 5MT Suby?. This is needed because I don't trust in any "service specialist" who can be found here so remains the " Do it yourself" system. Thanks!
  22. Hi guys! I put some auwfull fuel in my 86' gl 4WD Coupe, EA82 carb, and the engine started to knock and pinking. Neither the basic 800-900 rot/min wasn't work. After checkin' all the carb the diagnosis was wrong qulity fuel. This problem was solved with a few liters of good fuel. But from this moment when I try to accellerate quick with a brave push on the gas especially from 1400 to 2000 rot/min the engine starts to knocking. Is this because of the adwanse of ignition or because there is something finishing in the engine? The engine is in original situation after 170000Km. No touch at the spark distribuitor, in fact anywhere in the engine. Changed timing belts at 150000 Km. Just cool me down that's not a big ****! thanks!!!!
  23. On my '86 4wd Loyale I discowered some interesting things. First of all the front bearings was damaged and came the moment of changing. The question was wich bearing is adequate for my car. After disassembling the front I saw that the bearing is a common 6207 2Z roller bearing. So I bought 4 pieces two on each side and the problem was solwed with approx. 50Euro, instead of 200 Euro how much the Subaru dealer asked for. Than at the crankshaft started to leak some oil. The original kit of Siimerings was 100 Euro. With a little bit of searching I found the same sealant elements made by SKF (a Brand) for a price of 20 Euro. So let's check before of buy something. Who need some technical information can ask for by sending a message to me.
