  1. As you can see the vehicle has little daily use by the mileage. It’s mainly used for motorway journeys of 60 miles plus. The supply dealer has diagnosed the problem with the rear axle viscous coupling and informs me that the UK importer will only supply a complete axle assembly. The symptoms are, when pulling away from a road junction where one is applying nearly full steering lock there is a pronounced judder from the back of the car, in all other modes there is no problem either in noise or vibration.   2. Has anyone had any problems with the rear axle viscous coupling on a MY98 Automatic 2,5litre Outback. The mileage is still under 40K? Regards, Barrie.Beckett
