bump. Is there anyone who knows what to do with the kickdown solenoid cables once the tranny is removed. I read on one post they had problems. Anyone ???

Depends. If you're getting white smoke out the back of the exhaust like I was, it is most likely the Vacuum Modulator that needs replacing. Easy to fix. Otherwise another problem is seals. Richard

I'm looking to change the geabox from auto to manual. I've scoured the whole forum and found lots of good info, but couldn't find any info on what to do with the kickdown solenoid once the auto is removed. Anyone who has done the conversion - what did you do ? Richard
