  1. UPDATE: After reviewing the contract (and before taking possession of the car) I cancelled the contract. I'm still considering a Subie purchase- but will continue my research.
  2. Thank again- I will ask. Haven't picked up the car yet- waiting on some parts to arrive.
  3. Found this after searching for "new outback." First thought: what a nice birthday present! Next thought: so THAT'S what those paddles are good for. I just bought an Outback, and it's my first car w/paddle shifters. Had to ask the salesman how they work/why they have them. Your post was a good lesson- thanks! There's usually not a lot of snow around here (San Diego)- but hoping to use this car for many trips in the year to come, so...hope to find a reason to use them.
  4. Thanks for this tip- good to know. I just purchased a new Outback w/nav system, and wondered if I should have just relied on my Iphone as I currently do. At least now I know I have 3 years of updates it before needing to spend more money- thanks again!
