Skip, Thanks for replying...this is really good information, better for me than a part number because I really want to look for a used part. One thing, did you look at the pictures in the link I supplied? The part(s) look slightly different than in your pictures...do you think there's a variance from model to model? Your informatin will make it much easier to call local junkyards (there are many here in the Los Angeles area) looking for the part... and I'll also try in the forum with a WTB message. There's a "dual solenoid valves" part that's used to control the 4WD operation on the Subaru Loyale (and possibly other 4WD subarus). I need to find one to use in a locker differential setup on a VW Camper. I'm not having much luck using the name "dual solenoid valves" and I wonder if someone could tell me the official name, or even part number for this item. There are two photos of this part about halfway down the page at this link: http://personal.riverusers.com/~kennedy/van_mods/locker.htm. I'd really appreciate it if someone familiar with subarus could help me identify this part. Thanks and regards from a VW Camper owner. John
