  1. Whining noise

    Rambus posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    My kid bought a 2002 Forrester. I has a whining noise only when driving when your on the gas. It starts at about 35 mph and goes away when you coast. 3 mechanics gave 3 different problems. 1 planetary gear, 2 mid differential, 3 CV joint. Anyone have the same issue? Any help would be much appreciated!
