You're asking the wrong person. I loathe EA82s. I've had quite a few, but it's been so long since I've even seen under the hood of one I couldn't tell ya.

I may keep the fogs. I paid $80 for them a few years ago but now they're only worth $50. I'd be losing my arse lol. I've got a DL headlight setup minus the dang wiring (didn't have time that particular day to get all the wiring), dual range center console (not the super tall one though unfortunately, don't think that'd work for your Loyale anyhow), a plastic adapter piece for a CD player, and.... I'll just have to check when I go back to my parents. I've got a thread with all the stuff listed actually...

Hey I'm from your area. I'm in Morristown. I've got some old EA82 parts, and I've got a couple PIAA fog lights if you're interested. I DID have a set of pug rims, but I have already sold them. I will keep an eye out for a set of 4/140 wheels. I've got some good ideas where to look, I've had EA82s a while. I've got an EA81 now though.

I still got that adapter plate if you're interested.

I don't really know anything about the motors besides how to reseal and do belts and stuff. And No I have no blocks or anything, got rid of the only 2 motors I had.

I will take some pics of it when I'm near it. Staying at my parents over the holidsays so it'll be sometime in the first week of January. How does $300 sound? They're pretty hard to come by here.

Have you joined any Outback or Forester sites? You need to get word out that you're importing diesels, there's alot of people that make better money than the foks around here that may be willing to pay good money for a diesel.

Ya know, I think I may have seen your car briefly at the Earl Duff Subaru meet/show... I got there kind of late but I remember seeing a red Outback with a custom roof rack and some bumper mounted lights. Was that you? You may have seen mine briefly too...

So what are your rides? I've got an Outback I'm about to drop an australian ej d/r in, an '86 hatch I just aquired, and an '89 5spd d/r touring wagon. It'd be nice to find some other Subie fans around here who would be up for a wheeling/camping/barbecue type trip to a national forest or something.

So how many Mercs/BMWs have you owned? Glad to hear you love your first Subaru. That thing needs a 5spd though... you'd love it SO much more.

It just so happens I found a section of harness in my dad's trunk right before he went to California and it has that diode. Lucky me!

Hey. I posted a question with a pic in the new gen and you said it was a Volt Controlling Diode. Is that something I could get just anywhere, or would I need to get it from either Subaru or the junkyard? And where would it be located in the car? there's plenty of Legacies at the junkyard so if I can't get it just anywhere it's no problem.
